I never use the Apple calendar but may have to go back.😳 suddenly it no longer interacts with Apple Maps and doesn’t recognize when I’m asking it to map the address I’ve added to the calendar appointment.

Submitted an issue for review 10/3/24. As of today, 11/30/24, still no response even with multiple follow-ups.

I have been using this calendar for years. Very user friendly, lots of options to organize anything and everything in your life. You can share calendars with different people and they can share back. I have a calendar just for me that I don’t share with anyone. I mostly have my medicine on there. I have a calendar just for the dogs that I share with my spouse. I have a calendar for the kids sports that I share with their aunts, uncles, and grandparents. I even made a money calendar to track when bills are due and when I get paid. Just try this, you won’t be sorry!

Integrates tasks and events which is necessary for the business professional. Somehow Apple has never gotten the message. Seeing the daily "job" on one page is necessary and this app makes it attractive.

This latest update does NOT calculate the anniversary years correctly. Please issue fix for this. Otherwise love this app- been using it many years now

I’ve been using this app for years and I really like it, but I have to say this: editing the starting and ending times for events is completely idiotic in miCal. If I try to edit the starting time of an event , it constantly changes the end time to something I don’t want - the same vice versa. Can’t I just edit something and everything else gets left alone ?

I’ve been using MiCal for years. Easy to link Google, Apple and other calendars to MiCal along with GameChanger etc. what I love the most about this app is that, in the 30 day view, you can see the events for each day, whereas in the iPhone calendar, all you see are dots. you can also create labels that are private or for sharing, which I find extremely useful.

I’ve been using this app for years and after the recent IOS update I am not able to add my cal to the privacy settings to allow access to my calendars. It doesn’t show up at all. Tried to click on app support and nothing comes up. Can’t seem to find out how to mail anyone. PLEASE HELP! I don’t want to use another calendar app.

Skewed saved occasions/entries OFF one day! Also lost date-on-app function. Deleted, reinstalled to no avail. Please fix. Been using for 9 years and don’t really want to find another cal. Thanks.

As a small business owner I find MiCal the perfect calendar app. I am able to color code appointments. It enables us to look at schedules quickly & determine what type of appointment it is due to color code. I have been using it for years. I love the MiCal app!

Getting an expired certificate warning that hasn’t been fixed since 11/27/2022. I‘m concerned about security. Apart from that, love this calendar! Only has one big shortcoming: I'd like to set up an event in a different time zone and would like to select the time zone while creating the event. This is possible with iCal and Outlook. Every time I'm traveling, my entries are completely messed up!

I use this and another calendar app together. The clean interface and ability to share events via email is invaluable.

While I love the calendar, my one complaint is that when attempting to show the current date badge, nothing happens. I tried to send an email to support and was unable to and what I find interesting is that all of the reviews on the app’s page are 2+ yrs old! Interesting?

A coworker recommended this to me. Definitely the best app I have ever paid for. Always know what my week looks like! Love it!!

I use this calendar every day and it’s the best. Apples calendar is complete garbage and this one totally makes my iPhone useable for scheduling. I really hope they keep the updates coming. ***app is freezing. Lot with ios 16. Really hope they get the app updated or I’m going to have to find something else.

I have been using this calendar app for as long as I remember. I used to use a Palm Pilot and wanted a calendar that mimic it. This is the closest I found. Use it daily.

It works great. Really keeps my days and weeks organized.

App doesn’t work.

I have used miCal for a few years and really like some of its features. But it still doesn’t have split screen support. This makes it hard to work with on iPad and other apps. I have tested many calendars and they have split screen support. However also see miCal is not updated now 8 months. Is it still being developed?

I have used this app for over a year and am increasingly relying on it at work and home. Great layouts and syncs seamlessly with Nextcloud. Wish it had an option for all day reminders/tasks. Otherwise highly recommended, thank you to the devs.

After years of looking for a calendar that worked for me, I thought "Finally"! I couldn't wait to use this. Unfortunately, when I open this app, it looks gorgeous but then just shuts down! There seems to be a problem. Please fix it.

This version doesn’t have the same easy on the eyes display. No way to make text bold. Deleting for another app. Sorry I paid for this even though I used it on old iPad for years.

Update 2021 - lost a few things with the recent update and found that there is no way to reach app support there website domain is down - Very disappointed. I am also finding that in the widget section there are random events that are only showing up there and NOWHERE else. It’s very frustrating and APPLE said to contact customer support but they’re nowhere to be found in this app. Update 2019: still an amazing app Will there be an option in the future to take pictures and add them to the notes section when scheduling an event? Would be helpful with birthday parties/invitations etc. Have been a user for over 5 years - can't live without it! Colors are my savior since I'm a nurse, care giver & mother I can keep everything organized.

Still the best

This was a great app until the last update. Now it’s a worthless piece of crap. You can no longer edit Start or End times in events or edit these. We’ll see if they fix it in the next few days—if not it will be time to dump it. These idiots seem to do this to their app every couple of years— they have something that works well then try to improve it & completely screw it up. 10/19/20 All of their previous problems were fixed and this is once again a GREAT 5 Star app.

Was my go to calendar and reminder app but Doesn’t work the same after iOS14. Upcoming Reminders don’t show up anymore. When attempting to make changes in settings, the app crashes.

I love this calendar...except, it automatically downloaded my flight plans - which might be nice, but I completely changed them. The calendar will NOT allow me to delete the old data!😡. Confusing, as I am still flying the same days. It should have a delete option!!!

While in AL, I made several appointments that were to occur in OH. The states are in different time zones. I entered the time of the appointment but the app automatically changed it to an hour later once we were in the state. I missed the first appointment and was baffled as to how that happened but fortunately figured it out BEFORE missing the next two appointments. I then went to settings thinking I needed to change something and found nothing regarding time zones. Ridiculous feature...absolutely RIDICULOUS!!

Any all-day event with an alert gets activated 24-hours early.

I love this calendar app. It’s the one I’ve used the longest! The only thing I would add is the ability to change the color scheme of the dashboard like you can for events. I’m not a fan of the blue.

I absolutely love this calendar app and I have been using it for years. I have encountered one of my first issues and it is driving me a little crazy...all of my birthdays are showing up on the list a day before the actual birthday. They are not that way in the calendar, but the list shows them that way and the reminder comes through that way. I am not sure what is going on and I’m hoping this can be fixed

The feature I used to love on this app was the multiple reminders you can set for an event. Within the past few months though the reminders disappear at various later times. For example: I set an event that’s 2 weeks out with 8 reminders and then save it. I look at the event later and all but one of the reminders have disappeared. The one remaining reminder is random (anywhere from 5 min to 3 days). I’ve nearly missed appointments due to this more recent flaw. This used to be my favorite calendar app but I may need to switch to one that’s more reliable.

I love the way this app displays my calendar. I use the month view to get a great overview of my weeks, and can switch to other views to see details. Reliable and working for me for years.

Adjusting appointments is very tedious. Adjustments can only be accomplished by moving the appointment using add and subtract buttons. Very painful. Can we go back to the old way?

How can you announce iOS 13 compatibility without testing Dark Mode??!! It’s a main feature of iOS 13 and this app is COMPLETELY UNUSABLE in Dark Mode. There’s white text on white backgrounds everywhere. I can’t see what buttons do, when creating a new event and editing the start/end time I can’t see the date/time rollers AT ALL. They’re still present, I can manipulate them, but I have to guess at their location and their value. This app is normally great but this update was really phoned in. Fire your tester that certified it was compatible with iOS 13 because they’re stealing from you.

If you use Google calendar, this is perfect. Really great.

I am surprised at how well this app functions. It’s not a very popular app but really should be. Very well coded and full of features, you can’t beat the price. I look forward to seeing what the future looks like for this app.

Updates are a year behind other apps. App functions poorly and is far from a true task management app

I’ve tried Apple’s calendar, Informant 5, Fantastical, PocketLife and Calendars 5 and they were either too much, too simple or lacking something that is really needed in a calendar app. miCal is like mama bear’s bed to Goldilocks: Just right. It’s easy to set it up just the way you want it without an overkill of confusing choices. It imported all my existing iOS Calendar and Reminders so I was up an running in no time. I like that I can use any theme: dark, light, or gray with or without colors for the appointments and reminders. The dashboard is a great idea and with free weather. miCal is pleasing to the eye and easy to use. Truly the missing calendar. I wish I’d have found this a long time ago. Kudos to the developer who is a genius to come up with this fine app.

This is good app I also have contact app from the same company they have very bad customer service till now I’m still waiting for an answer

One of Apple’s iOS updates must have “broken” the alarms for this calendar app, but now they are working again, so it is once again my favorite calendar app— 5 stars!

I’ve use miCal off and on for some time now. The app is very intuitive and a pleasure to use. I really enjoy the various layouts, especially the one that shows a mini calendar, the current weather, your tasks list and of course your scheduled events on one screen. I can easily add a new task or event without too much effort. Support is good as well. I recently had a question on setting the default layout on an iPad. The developer responded promptly and answered my question. I highly recommend this flexible calendar and task management app.
